The question nobody reports on
Travelers are asking an AI travel agent where to rent a car, for these dates, at this airport. The agent answers. Until now, nothing told you what it said about you.
You know your rates. You know your availability. You know where you sit on the comparison sites. What you have never had is a report that tells you whether the agent answering a traveler's question even knows you have a counter at that airport. That is the report Agent Awareness puts on your desk.
Awareness is per location
Forty locations, forty answers
An agent can know your brand perfectly well and still have no idea you serve Boise. A single brand-wide figure averages that away. The unit that matters to an operator is the brand and location pairing, one at a time.
A coverage map, not a score
The useful output names the locations. You can check it yourself, hand it to the person who owns the fix, and look at it again next month. A visibility index gives you none of that.
“Six of your forty locations are unknown to the agents your customers are using.”
Why this is a car rental problem
Absence has two completely different meanings and they look identical from the outside. Either the agent did not know you were there, or the agent was right and you had nothing to sell. One of those is lost revenue and the other is a correct answer.
Telling them apart needs the car rental picture for that brand at that location. RateHighway holds the competitive shopping and availability picture for car rental per brand and location, which is what makes the measurement possible and what a generic tool cannot do.
That is also the honest answer to the obvious objection. You have already asked an assistant about your own brand, and so has everyone else. One screenshot is not a benchmark. Answers move between runs, between phrasings and between travelers, so a number you can act on needs the full range of questions asked repeatedly, per location, with a platform failure told apart from a real gap. That is what runs here, week after week.
What runs today
Agent Awareness is live and in beta.
- LiveObservation
- Agent Awareness asks real AI travel agents real travelers' questions, one airport at a time, and records what came back: which brands were named, in what order, and which sources the agent cited. The answer itself is kept as evidence, so a finding can be opened and read rather than taken on trust.
- LiveThe availability check
- Every answer is set beside what was genuinely sellable at that location on those dates. That is the check that separates an absence that cost you a booking from an absence that was simply correct, and it is the reason this is a coverage map rather than a mention count.
- LiveYour coverage map, every week
- Results land per brand and location pairing, named rather than averaged, and they are run again on a weekly cadence. You can hand a location to the person who owns the fix and see next week whether the fix took.
Beta means what it says. The product runs, the findings are real, and we are still adding airports, questions and reporting with the operators using it. Coverage is deepest where our beta operators are, and we will tell you plainly what we cover for your locations before you commit to anything.

See what the agents say about your locations.
We start with a baseline on your locations and the questions your travelers are actually asking, then show you the coverage map that comes back. Tell us your brand and roughly how many locations you run, and we will take it from there.
